From a family of butchers for many generations, Jean-Guy Bonneau purchased, in 1971, L’Orignal Packing Ltd. Assisted by his two brothers Yvan and Claude, including his loyal controller Roger Barbarie, this small slaughterhouse became with time a food distributor for the eastern Ontario region from the Quebec border to Cornwall and Ottawa. Their specialty still remaining the meat. In 2006, the business passed on to the second generation of the family, André, Christine (O’Neill) and Benoît. Christine Sole Owner since 2013 has her hearts ready for the new challenges that the business may bring in the future. You can always count on our team to recommend cuts or recipes when you visit our store.
We now count 18 employees with an average of 15 years of loyal service with the company. They will make an effort on giving you a personalized service.
The store is open to the public, offers multiple varieties of products including our irresistible homemade ham. Come and meet our butchers, they will gladly answer all your needs for your BBQ and pig roast.
